How i became a producer - The Story (Just a small piece)

Lights Out Studios was established as a sanctuary for artists to record without any pressure or judgment. When our studio first opened, we used to turn off the lights, inspiring the name “Lights Out”, to create a relaxed atmosphere inside the studio.  Now surrounded by darkness, the only light was from the recording machine I used to record on an old Roland 8 track Zip disk recorder. 


        Our services include mixing, mastering, sample chopping, artist coaching, attending your shows to provide feedback on areas of improvement. We are a versatile studio that prioritizes caring for all aspects of the artist's journey. 
    


  I also was an artist for over 13 years and have performed at over 80 plus venues and dropped seven mixtapes, three studio albums, and then I became a music producer/ audio engineer the more practice I got.  I worked and recorded with over 30 artist from our local music scene although I never was on the Internet I had gone to all the shows thruought the city and left business cards also hosted the Friday night fire for 93.1 jams with all star DJ Fusion.  


From here, I want to stay in the industry, provide the knowledge that I gained thru the years to help upcoming talent perfect this art form to his or her, or however you identify as.  My goal is to mentor and support you, helping in whichever way I can to  navigate you thru this often complex and challenging world of music.
